FAQ
What should I wear or bring?
Just bring comfortable shoes, a good mood, and for this tour — a bit of space for dessert!
How much walking is involved?
How much walking is involved?
Not too much! We stroll between cafés and patisseries, usually around a mile in total. If you have mobility issues, just let us know in advance — we’re happy to adapt. Our groups always move at a relaxed pace.
Will I get tired of all the sweets?
Not at all! We’ve carefully designed the food tour to keep your experience perfectly balanced. It’s definitely not just a non-stop sugar rush — we pace the tastings thoughtfully and pair the delicious cakes and pastries with refreshing drinks and coffee to cleanse and refresh your palate along the way.
Do you accommodate vegans and vegetarians?
Yes! Vegetarians can fully enjoy the experience. Vegans might find it a bit more challenging since many Slovak desserts use dairy, but let us know your preferences by WhatsApp or email, and we’ll do our best to prepare something tasty for you too.
Lactose-intolerant, celiac, or other dietary needs — is the tour for me?
Usually yes. With some advance notice, we can adapt most dishes. Just email us your dietary requirements, and we’ll make sure you can enjoy the tour comfortably. Keep in mind that our goal is to showcase authentic Slovak sweets, so options may be limited for some restrictions.
We always do our best to make everyone happy — just expect a slightly different menu if you’re vegan celiac, or lactose-intolerant. If you have multiple restrictions, please email us and we’ll let you know if the tour is suitable for you.
Who will be my guide?
You will be exploring the city directly with me. My name is Jakub, I am a licensed local guide, and I run Go Bratislava. Having visited dozens of countries, I understand what makes a city tour truly exceptional. I personally dislike overpriced tourist traps and generic, low-quality experiences. That’s why I combine a professional, reliable service with the relaxed feeling of discovering the authentic Bratislava alongside a knowledgeable local expert.
